i want to thank congresswoman terri suel, and long with congressman john lewis. hopefully we can have some movement on the voting rights act. as all of you know the supreme court in june of 2013 said the formula being used in section five is outdated. and so we introduced a bill in the last congress that did not get an opportunity for an up or down vote. hopefully we again can get an up or down vote so that section five can continue. that is the law that requires certain jurisdictions to get their laws precleared before they are enforced. section five is critical to voting rights for african-americans in this country. >> did any staff receive any communication from the white house about the netanyahu visit? >> i have no knowledge of that i'm sorry. >> do you feel misled by the president when he said he did not support gay marriage but he actually did. >> that didn't come up today and i didn't have a personal conversation with the president about that, i'm sorry. >> is there an investigation into the police forces in ferguson. he said he wanted to -- >> yes, the d
